پژوهش حاضر از نظر هدف، کاربردی و از لحاظ ماهیت، توصیفی - تحلیلی است، و به دنبال بررسی توسعه اقتصادی با تاکید بر زیرساختهای ضروری با محوریت راهبرد مهندسی جغرافیایی فضا در روستاهای شهرستان شفت میباشد. به منظور تجزیه و تحلیل اطلاعات از مدلهای وزندهی شانون و استخراج صفحه برازش، و FARAS، و نرم افزار SPSS استفاده شد. نتایج آزمون همبستگی اسپیرمن و مدل شانون نشان داد، در تمامی روستاهای محدوده مطالعاتی به استثنای تعدادی از روستاهای غیر منطبق بر رفتار مدلهای ارائه شده رابطه مستقیمی بین توسعه اقتصاد روستایی و زیر ساختهای ضروری وجود دارد، اما در بررسی موارد استثناء هم نکاتی به چشم خورد که حائز اهمیت است و میتوان از آن به عنوان نقصان ناشی از نادیده گرفتن نقش جغرافیایی نواحی در برنامهریزی توسعهای روستایی در مقیاس دهستانی در محدوده مطالعاتی مورد بررسی قرار داد. همچنین نتایج مدل آراس فازی نشان داد، به ترتیب: توسعه سرمایهگذاری بخش دولتی در شهر با مقدار وزن 519/0، افزایش عرضه نیروی کار با مقدار وزن 422/0، ارتقای رضایت از درآمد با مقدار وزن 400/0، ارتقای رضایت شغلی با مقدار وزن 384/0، ارتقای امید به آینده شغلی در روستا با مقدار وزن 344/0، افزایش پسانداز با مقدار 323/0، ایجاد بازارهای نو برای فروش محصولات داخلی با مقدار وزن 312/0، ارتقای سلامت ناشی از کار با مقدار وزن 313/0، توسعه سرمایهگذاری بخش خصوصی در شهر با مقدار 310/0، بیشترین و کمترین میزان تاثیرپذیری را از زیرساختها به خود اختصاص دادهاند.
