Department of Geography, Lorestan University of Iran, in collaboration with Iranian Scientific Association of Geography and Rural Planning, has a publishing license from the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance (86495- 2020/05/01) for the journal "Geographical Studies of Mountainous Areas". The approach of the magazine will be to emphasize the issues and topics raised in the mountainous areas of the country. Respected researchers interested in studying in geographical areas such as urban, rural, tourism, land management, geomorphology, climatology and interdisciplinary topics, etc. regarding the mountainous areas of the country, including the Alborz mountain range, Zagros mountainous areas, plateau Central Iran, mountainous areas of Talesh, north and east of the country and areas located in the foothills of important mountains of Iran and the world can send articles taken from their research and studies to the journal website. Obviously, the articles of respected researchers will be published in the forthcoming issues of the journal after the judging process and based on the priority of receipt and acceptance.
